Banquet highlights business talent
Mark your calendars for the Colby/Thomas County Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Friday, March 31.
The banquet will be held at City Limits Convention Center with a theme of Hometown Pride. We will be celebrating all the great things our community has to offer.
The evening will begin with a social time at 6:30 p.m., followed by a dinner at 7 p.m. and entertainment at 8 p.m., featuring some unexpected talent.
“The mic is off, but the game is on,” says Tamara Clymer, Executive Director of the Colby/Thomas County Chamber. “We’re having a lip-sync battle for charity, and I, for one, cannot wait to see what our local celebrities bring to the stage.”
Colby Ambassador president, Brock Wagoner is set to emcee the contest.
The Ambassadors Business Person of the Year and the Community Service Award winners will also be honored at the banquet, and the newly elected board will be introduced to the membership.
Tickets for the event are $30 each or $240 for a corporate table of eight. You can RSVP by calling the Chamber office at (785) 460-3401, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting our website ColbyChamber.com. Reservations are due Friday, March 17.
Once again, we will be holding drawings for items that have been created and donated by our Chamber member businesses. If you would like to donate an item to promote your business and your Hometown Pride, please call the Chamber office by March 1 or email info@ColbyChamber.com.
