The Colby/Thomas County Chamber of Commerce and Colby Rotary invite you to register for their annual golf tournament at Meadow Lake Golf Course on Friday, May 24.
The tournament is expected to attract nearly 100 Thomas County area business and community leaders and is a great opportunity to get your business noticed. Sponsorships are still available and raffle prize donations are also being accepted.
“We’re excited to get out on the green this year,” says Chamber executive director, Tamara Clymer. “This event is always so much fun and brings the Colby business community together for a good cause.”
Tournament check-in begins at 8 a.m. in the clubhouse. We’ll have donuts and coffee on hand for those that need that last minute boost before the tournament begins. Shotgun start begins at 9 a.m. We’ll provide lunch and dinner and have a bunch of contests, games and raffles. The cost is $65 per golfer or $250 for a team of four. Individuals are welcome and will be teamed up for the day.
Funds raised at the tournament will help the Rotary and Chamber to continue to offer many of their community-focused events. The Rotary has spearheaded many community projects over the years including the new band shell in Fike Park, improvements at the ballpark and local education efforts in the public schools. The Chamber uses the funds to help with business education as well as local projects like the Christmas Light Parade and Downtown Trick or Treat.
Registration is now open online at ColbyChamber.com/golf. For more information about the tournament, please contact the Chamber office at (785) 460-3401.
