At the Chamber we are constantly looking for ways to add more value to your Chamber membership. In the last three years we have beefed up our newsletter, installed a job board and started advertising those opportunities in Colby and the surrounding area. We also created a member to member discount program and expanded our online member business listings.
But our latest Chamber benefit is one I think will top them all.
The Colby/Thomas County Chamber board of directors recently voted to offer health/dental/vision insurance to all members as an added benefit of membership. This plan will utilize the very best insurance coverage possible, as we are building this insurance from the ground up to meet the specific needs of our community.
We will be partnering with six other Chambers in southwest Kansas to offer this more affordable coverage to our members and their employees. There is no obligation to participate, however the more members that take part the better the plan becomes for everyone.
We know you have questions, so we will holding a couple of informational meetings…
Tuesday, August 27
Prairie Museum of Art & History
noon and 6:30 p.m.
While we won’t have specific information like what is covered and what our deductibles will be, you will be able to ask questions directly to a representative from the plan’s administrator – Corporate Plan Management (Topeka, Kan). Matt Marple, Vice President of Sales, will be here to answer your questions and provide insight into how the plan will work.
If you are looking for a new health plan for you and your employees, we highly encourage you to attend one of these meetings… and even if you are happy with your existing plan, please come. Information is always good and you never know, this may just be the option you didn’t know you were looking for.
