We’re shaking things up just a bit!
For years our annual luncheon has been held in January — right after the first of the year. That luncheon kicked off a series of events… about one a month for the next five months.
That’s a lot of events! So, we now we’re spreading things out a bit more.
Our annual meeting will be held Wednesday, October 30 at noon at the The Gathering Place (745 S. Country Club Dr., Colby), and will feature a State of the City presentation by Colby city manager, Tyson McGreer. Members will also hear from Chamber Board president, Jerry Gallentine, Ambassador president, Sacha Sanguinetti, Diplomat president, Kristina Hemel, CVB Executive Director, Julie Saddler and Chamber Executive Director, Tamara Clymer.
Reports won’t be the only thing on the agenda. We will also select a nominating committee from the Chamber membership, to start the search for new Chamber board members. The committee will nominate prospective board members which will be placed on the election ballot to be mailed out next year.
