It’s been almost a year since the world shut down.
The last eleven months have been so quiet at the Chamber. Who knew when we canceled our first Business After Five last March that we would still be limiting our connections all these months later? Sure, we had plenty of other things to keep us busy and we held an event here and there, but for the most part it was a much different Chamber in 2020.
Well, no more! We’re back!
Starting next month, we will start holding regular events again. Doesn’t that sound good?
And we are coming back with a bang. First off is Morning Perk on March 24 at Golden Plains Garden Center. What a great way to welcome in spring… coffee, treats, flowers! It sounds heavenly, doesn’t it?
The next month we continue our great outdoors theme… or at least the tour of great greenhouses of Colby theme. In April we have TWO Business After Five’s planned. (We’re making up for lost time.) We are back at Golden Plains Garden Center on April 15 and then head out to Moonlight Garden Center on April 22.
As if that wasn’t enough, we’re starting to plan our annual golf tournament for May, and believe it or not… we’re putting some pieces together on an event to replace this year’s banquet… something we can do together… outside. Can you imagine it? It will be so much fun!
We have been waiting a long time for this. Life in the Chamber office just hasn’t been the same without Business After Five, Morning Perk and our other activities. Of course, who knows what will happen in 2021, but we have our fingers crossed (and our toes) that the COVID numbers will continue to go down and we’ll be able to get back to gathering again.
So plug those numbers into your phone calendar… jot them down on your desk planner… whatever you have to do. Make sure you join us starting next month. It is going to be SO good to see you all again!
(And if you would like to host a Business After Five or Morning Perk in 2021, please give our office a call. We have several openings this year, which is a rarity. So be sure to grab your spot while we still have some.)
